Post Body

I hope the title isn't confusing, I'll explain. So I got my first electric guitar, but no amp. I absolutely do not have finger movements down, they feel impossible. I know about 2 riffs, iron man and smoke on the water. I play those with one finger, since that's all I can do atm. I can do Iron man decently well but it takes me like 20 tries before I can do a almost decent riff of smoke on the water. I know the guitar itself kinda well I guess, like I know what the fretboard is, what the dots mean on the board, what the body is, ect. How do I go about learning to play? Is YouTube a good option? I've watched a few videos of Marty Music and its helped me out ok. Also on a side note I don't really like the sound my guitar makes unplugged. I've never heard it hooked to an amp and I'm seriously considering picking up a Blackstar Fly 3. The unplugged sound kinda puts me off, should I pull the trigger and get an amp? Thanks
