In the summer of 2015 i was gifted a Cort guitar (AF510 OP) by my father, i was never into musical instruments back then, or music. But recently, my father passed away surprisingly while i was on vacation in another country. The guitar honestly has a lot of sentimental value to me because i lost my dad without saying a goodbye, so the guitar is sort of my way to "speak" to him. Anyways, enough with the sad shit.
So yea, playing the guitar. I know a bit about it since i was training on the Ukulele but the Uke is just easy guitar, so guitar for me is normal guitar, that made no sense but im keeping it nonetheless. So whats some tips you can give a man with a passion to play the guitar. Should i invest in private lessons, should i self-study it, should i just strum the fuck outa it until it makes a good noise and then make a hit song? Any advice is more than welcome. Thanks :3
Here are some pics of it:
