Hey! Just found this sub hope y'all can help me. I work at a pawnshop, got this sweet MIM strat for a steal of a deal. I noticed off the bat the previous owner had no idea what they were doing and the saddles are all jacked up and funky body is in great condition and electronics work great. It wasn't until I got home I noticed in the case a work order from a local shop stating needs new neck. I looked over the neck action is good no cracks nothing. It wasn't until I looked at the truss rod nut and thought oh my god! So my question is what the hell do I do? I don't want to return it as the deal was too good lol. Short of the neck surgery or a replacement (which depending on brand isn't super expensive). Also it's the recessed truss rod nut. I've never dealt with an issue like this. I can provide pics as well.
