I really like Ernie ball m-steels, but they don't come in the Beefy Slinky size. As a result, i?'ve been mixing heavy bottoms with the tops of the power slinky. I love the feel, though still wish I had a bigger bottom string. I just put a set of GHS Thick-skinned Boomers 11-56 on. I like the feel of the strings, but from low E to A, it drops to a 38, and it feels funky. What do you guys use and what do you suggest for me? I play aggressive, start a half step down, and sometimes drop the low E all the way to A#.
