And for those of you with first hand experience with it, is it any good?
I've always hated that characteristic sound of a piezo pickup in an acoustic guitar fed through an "acoustic guitar amp" (or the club PA) but it's a necessary evil. To be fair, a few small handfuls of people seem to actually like that sound, to each their own I suppose.
I've seen a million "acoustic guitar simulation" pedals and circuitry on these amps and I've used probably a dozen or so personally.
They never actually sound like an acoustic guitar. Of course not.
But hey, there may be a brand new cutting edge that is finally make some inroads in that direction...
Is there? What's it like? Half-way there maybe? Love to hear what you all have to say.
