So ivd been without a guitar for over two years now,I had a beautiful Taylor DN3 that got stolen and life's rollercoaster never allowed me to pick up another decent guitar. So now here I am, I got a new Yammy FG700S and as a Taylor enthusiast I am blown away by how good this thing sounds. I know it has potential to sound even better, so what I'm wondering is, what's the best new strings on the market for acoustic guitar? I like something nice and light and easy to play. I'm thinking that the nut and saddle could be switched for something of better quality. Any advice you have is appreciated. Traditionally,I have always struggled in learning,I gave up easily,I developed many bad habits. I'm working with a blank slate now and I'm really going to push for success. I was never able to play barre chords before, I've almost got them now!! I'm halfway through learning Just Breathe by Pearl Jam!
