what's the best quality test or set of criteria when buying off of Craigslist?

I found a guitar on Craigslist that I am interested in. Obviously, I plan on playing it through my amp prior to purchasing it. What should I be looking for to make sure the guitar is in good condition and isn't just a bad guitar overall? Any relevant tips would be welcome to a first time Craigslist buyer.
