Is practicing constantly on an electric harming my acoustic skills?

Post Body

Been playing for about a year, practicing consistently on both. My music style tends to favor the electric and I enjoy electric techniques so naturally I just play a lot more with an electric.

I want to be a well rounded guitar player though and I notice at times when I come back to acoustic my playing isn’t as consistent. If I freely strum on the open chords I can make a nice little tune but as for learning songs I tend to play poorly, in comparison I can practice an easy-ish electric song or riff and get the hang of it within an hour or so.

I know practice makes perfect so I will continue to practice but I didn’t know if this is a common issue or not and I don’t want to lose my acoustic skills cause if someone hands me a guitar I want to be able to play something
