I've been craving for a proper traditional Tele for quite a while, preferably for a small budget. After months of YT, reddit and Sweetwater comments "research" I've come to the conclusion the best bang-for-your-buck from Fender is the Squier 50's Telecaster.
I am assuming, however, that most reviews are biased, and so I'm looking for opinions from actual owners. Is there anything I'm missing? Is there anything I should keep an eye out on in terms of QC or anything else? I'm assuming it'll be Indonesian, but perhaps I'm lucky and they still have the Chinese made in stock (I'm not from the U.S., and gear in my country moves far slower than most other markets, it's absolutely possible to find a 5-10 year old piece new from a store).
Anyway, any opinion will be welcome, but I guess I'd love to hear the criticism some people may have.
Thanks!
EDIT: I got it! And you were all right! It's heavy, the neck is a bit sticky, and the intonation out of the box was horrid. But I've replaced the saddles to compensated brass ones, did a quick setup and now it's amazing! I'm truly amazed at what you're getting at this price.
Thank you all for failing at your one job!
