Guitar strings on baritone guitalele?
Post Body

Hi all, I just bought a 30" guitalele. The 30" was ideal for me because my main instrument is baritone ukulele. I recently put acoustic guitar strings on my baritone ukulele, which isn't usually recommended but they sound incredible. Anyway, the baritone ukulele is the exact same size as the guitalele I bought. Can I restring my guitalele with acoustic guitar strings and play it in standard E tuning? I hate the A tuning and I'm starting a master's in music therapy this fall, so I bought the guitalele to practice guitar without getting confused by the size, not realizing a guitalele is in A tuning. Can I just change the strings like I did on the baritone uke?
