Post Body

I was never much of a fighting game fan growing up. The only fighting games I've really spent significant time in are platform fighters like Smash, and more recently, Multiversus.

I was watching Evo for the Multiversus tournament, but I caught some games of Guilty Gear Strive and it really caught my eye. I love the art style, the characters I saw, and how meaty the gameplay looks.

Obviously the gameplay is much different from a platform fighter, but I'm wondering how much of the concepts and terminology remain the same, and how easy or difficult of a transition you think it would be if I wanted to dive into Strive
