Lazarus is almost beaten but he grabs Livia with a magic appendage and tries to kill her by asphyxiation.
So Lazarus is into that.

There really isn't a connection from this episode to the expansion except for that last part which, I think, isn't even needed.
"One Path Ends" is the closure of the the GW1 White Mantle/GW2 Mursaat storyline hence the name. I really have some more thoughts on this but I don't think it's right to put it in a summary.
