I have been working to save enough geodes for an ambrite weapon... there are only 4 that interest me and I am trying to figure out how. A buddy of mine recommended the Maguuma Wastes track of PvP which I just finished and I received 100 geodes.. plus another skin. Cool. Now I can craft a Longbow.

But it turns out that I can't. After months of saving, I still don't have 425 geodes that the recipes cost. The drop rate of geodes is pretty low and after over 30 hours on Silverwastes, I still don't have enough for even one stinking recipe.

On top of that, the recipe doesn't unlock until Dry Top tier 4. I have only seen Dry Top at tier 4 once.

This is more grindy than anything I've seen in this game. All I want is a few weapons. Argh.
