so I am in Europe... I traveled here on business and while in Denmark, I connected to Gw2 fine and played for 3 days (obviously not the whole time). Now I am in Paris and I have tried 3 different networks and I always receive the same error.

Is there something nasty about France that means that ArenaNet simply hates them? The Danes have no trouble so it makes me wonder if there is a special hatred that ANet has for the French.

Yes, I have port-forwarding enabled, Windows Firewall is enabled with full special exceptions for GW2, and I even paid for full access after I thought that my very modern Hotel had an antiquated modem that didn't support port-forwarding.
