Does anybody else have this problem? In real life, fishing takes finesse and skill, or blind luck, or sometimes a mix of both. I think I have figured out why we are all addicted to the fishing games: because every time we cast it we catch a fish with almost no skill required.

Fishing has always been a relaxing recreational sporteven tournament fishers can have a fun relaxing time if they know what they're doing. But this game takes relaxation to a whole new level. In combination with my own personal playlist, played at a soothing level, not too loud, and that harmonic chime every Ingle time I cast.... tingles. I can even close my eyes for a few seconds because there's another peaceful chime when you hook one. They took the fishing style I associate with one of the most peaceful games as well, animal crossing. I mean, I literally feel stress melting while I fish.

How come I never seen anyone else fishing? Sure, I got invited to that huge group that'd always out, and that's great, but they also do not help new players, as I asked for help multiple times, and then got left behind and had to keep running to the new location while calling put acronyms I do not know yet. I'm sure some players appreciate what they do, but I had a spur experience and won't be returning. Not that I'm upset, I just personally get overwhelmed by things like that and won't be returning.

So, where are the players just hopping from map to map collecting fish? Just looking for a quiet spit where the mobs leave you alone at least 99% of the time and you can cast all you like uninterrupted? I'm going to be talking with some of my guild leaders about me hosting some fishing tournaments soon, it got quite a positive response when I brought it up on our guild missions last week. I want to know what the casual players would like to see?

I usually join the tournaments in the bay in SP, but I don't often see others there. Sometimes, I'll miss the sign up window, or forget, or choose not to when my girlfriend is playing with me so that she can win some tournaments too. I still head to that shore because of the 8 minutes of rare fishing pools. There's no reason not to be there collecting these free rare resources that continuously spawn. Some ideas I had were obviously just using those tournaments, but maybe restricting it to shoreline usage for a challenge. Also, a perfection bonus. I'm constantly hitting buttons too soon, and I'm trying to smooth out my play. I've got the buttons set, now I just need the timing. I thought it would be cool if someone could post a perfect catch feed. So taking a screenshot of your chat box showing all green and no red. And if multiple people get perfect feeds, giving an extra prize to whoever also catches the most fish. What do you guys think? Are there any other tournaments that are going on in the world now? What other ideas do you guys have?
