Trouble getting the game to start

GF and I played GW2 for a little while before we upgraded. Recently got a new computer and now the game wont launch on steam. Clicking the play button changes it to the stop button and then after a few seconds it goes back to the play button without launching the game. Reinstalled steam and gw2, launching both in administrator mode, all drivers are updated, firewall is disabled, and both supports are directing me to the other. Is there anyone who has experienced this? Is there anyone who can offer solutions?
