RA, JQ, FA, and AB still active enough?

I am considering getting back into GW1, after having played only GW2 since its launch, for nostalgic reasons and to work on my HoM and whatnot. With that being the main reason and that being said, I also miss the GW1 pvp types, and was wondering, is there still an active enough community for any of the four main types of PvP (Random Arena, Jade Quarry, Fort Aspenwood, and Alliance Battle).

And, really, whats the population/community like in general at this day and age of the game?
