I recently have a couple of opportunities that could come together in next 2 years, and I was wondering if some Guelph residents (Guelphites?) could provide any advice on a couple things. Me, my wife (both in our mid 30s) and 2 younger kids currently live in Halifax, and my job is looking for someone in office in Toronto over the next few years, and I am one of the few in the country (internally anyway) who can take on the promotion. We also have an opportunity to buy a place in a couple years in Guelph.

I’m sure everyone always asks about the commute, which I’ve read is terrible so I won’t ask. Is there anyone who has lived in in both Guelph and Halifax and advise how comparable they are?
