After a 24 hour long Skype call, inviting back a few old members and getting some new players to chip in I think its safe to say this has been one of the most productive periods. Good work guys, I'm proud of all of you!

Finished Projects

So many projects finished, I am overjoyed.

  • Fixed up New Salisbury after griefer attacks, and fixed up spots that were previously griefed. I don't think the city has looked this clean in a long time!

  • Rail to Prussia complete! No longer will our fingers get sore tapping the 'w' key, no longer will we be completely isolated from the rest of the server, trade has already been booming in the few days that the rail has been open.

  • Tunnel to New Leningrad. 8000 blocks away, many repairs of our picks, around 4 or 5 months of promises, many lava lakes and underground oceans, a few glitches through bedrock, plenty of accidental deaths and we're finally here! Just need to get the rails going and we'll finally be able to invite our Leninist friends over for a grand party that's been far too long in the making.

  • 42 station, complete and operational, both floors are ready to facilitate your travels.

  • Tree farm is built and ready for your needs, a new axe factory has been made too so there is no excuse for you to never have stockpiles of wood ever again!

  • Removal of the slums near the carrot farm, now being made into a cosy little cottage.

  • Prussian embassy complete and functional. As an added bonus we found a hidden cache we left there a month ago and had forgotten about it, we found a few beloved items a few of you had been missing!

  • Expansion of Christian's restaurant chain, now in Vault 420, New Salisbury, and a restaurant in 42 is under construction. Good luck with wherever you open up in the future!

  • More vaults, we made a few vaults and are taking orders for more. If you'd like a secure vault for your valuables please contact me and I'll get on it.

  • Farms, we expanded a few existing farms and created a few new farms that we previously did not have.

  • Expansion of the snitch network, almost doubled in size in just a single day! I'd still like to see more though, get going!

  • Road and plot construction. Lots of terraforming and roads have been done. Special thanks for Mino for returning and making some existing roads smoother.

  • Awesome manor line lit up, now its not so dark and scary so our resident Canadian can ride the rails without fear!

Ongoing Projects

I'm going to put these in priority from most urgent to least urgent.

  1. Laying rails to NL, some minor fixes to the tunnel (removing lava behind walls, reinforcing the walls, closing off caverns that cross it, lighting it up, and any other tidbits that should be done to make it a comfortable ride for everyone)

  2. Reconstructing the NL embassy, Shouldn't be an issue once we add the finishing touches to the rail. These guys have been very kind to us, I think we can afford the effort of repaying them by making our embassy look a lot nicer.

  3. Rail to Xia, I did say it wouldn't take long to dig a tunnel there, we need to help these guys out. And especially since they are back from their holidays they're going to be more active.

  4. Rebuilding Drakensberg. Remember, we said we'd look after their town after we annexed it. It has been hit by a few waves of griefers and it might seem like a Sisyphean task but we should honour the obligation to look after them. We did catch one of the griefers who did some damage so maybe we can put him to work fixing the grief to pay for his crimes.

  5. Create a more expansive snitch network and maintain it, I know we have some dead snitches on the outskirts of our territory we should dig them up and reactivate them. Now that kovio is working on his eugenics program maybe we can organise someone to dedicate a day to keep all of them alive.

  6. Finish the buildings in New Salisbury, we should try to help others out with their projects, we finally got an old member back to finish their house but we have started many other various projects. I'd like to see all buildings in the city complete.

  7. Elkku memorial park. The Finnish military forces doesn't seem like much of a challenge, nor does it really seem like military service, but that shouldn't stop us from creating a nice park to honour Elkku. I'm thinking of placing it in the medium sized area between the carrot farms and the road to the wheat, potato and animal farms.

  8. Roads to our towns, I know we have rails there but an overground scenic route would be nice, and once we get some horses going it'd be really fun to race around maybe even host an event.

Possible Projects

  • Rail expansion, I'd like to see some double rails within Grundeswald not just to external nations. Shouldn't be a difficult task.

  • Awesome manor station expansion. Might be good to create an international/internal hub there, its closer to the outside world than New Salisbury.

Dropped Projects

  • Sub base 0 fortification. No such need for this project since we're no longer using this for the original purpose. Would be nice to expand our navy a bit more though.

I really want to thank everyone who has helped out with any of the projects, you've been an immense help. Shout outs to the Prussians and Leninists who helped out, the new players who joined in, the old players who returned, and the regulars who did their bit as well. I really do appreciate all your efforts.
