Has anyone else recently ordered a batch of build a soil and run into major issues? I ordered the light recipe to start my 6 plants in and even added 4 cups of perlite to the cubic foot bag and within a few waterings the soil had become so compacted the plants were starved and are in the process of dying. In a last ditch effort to save them I transplanted them into pots full of the oly mountain fish compost soil recipe and low n behold after a few waterings the exact same outcome, so compacted that water just slides and pools on the top hardly flowing down through the soil. I know I didn’t pack my soil in too tight and I never move my plants (pick them up, put them down) for that to even happen so it’s got to be an issue within the soil. Super sad cause I love jermeys videos and really wanted them to be my go to. Is anyone else running into this or is it just something I’m doing wrong?
