What should i use my gems for?

Heya, i upgraded all my heroes, bought all castle parts and don‘t know what to use my gems for. I‘m on wave 560, easily able to beat much higher waves since i never used auto battle and replayed a lot. I know i‘m still very early game but i earn a lot of gems atm and don‘t want to waste them, do i ugrade my tower parts or is there some crucial festure that i need to focus on?
