Okay, help me fix my Skill Issue.

As about 90% of the player base it seems, the Infected Broodmother is making me her own personal hand puppet, every single time.

I can get to phase 3, but by the time, I have too much healing debuff to make it through. I have a full set of assassin armor, level 9, and have been using either a Mint Mace, mighty, level 9, or a mighty level 9 mantis scythe.

Any help on mutations, or gear, or even some tips I'm obviously missing, to help me try and correct my absolute TERRIBLE skill issue, would be just the bomb.
