I don't know where to make a house. I want it somewhere central so I can get everywhere easy but also somewhere cool

I want it to be like somewhere high up or somewhere cool. Not just on like a flat rock or the ground. I wish we could build onto the side of stuff like the side of the oak tree but at least to me knowledge you can't? So where do you think I should live?
