Question about dying in a challenge dungeon

Post Body

Hi all, I've just accepted a quest where the enemy I have to fight is in one the dungeons that you need a skeleton key for (the one in the Steps of Torment). I know that when I die in these dungeons I have to restart the session if I want another try - but does that mean having to slog my way to the skeleton key gate in the first place all over again, and doing that every time I die and want to try again?

Yeah I don't mind the dungeon being a challenge and a test of strength that resets when you die, I guess I just get a bit frustrated that you have to go through another dungeon over and over just to get there! It's like Dark Souls the ARPG :D

EDIT: Just realised how stupid I've been. It's not two separate dungeons, it's one dungeon split with a skeleton key door 🤦🏻‍♂️

This makes me sad. But thanks for the info :)

Christ, fuck that, what a massive pain in the arse. I wouldn't mind starting the whole dungeon again, but to go through the Steps of Torment from the start as well?? No chance. Thanks for the info.

Yeah I had to log out and in again and managed to get what I needed this time :)

Did you stop to kill the enemies in the Steps or just charge through to the door and get rid of the boss? That's what I ended up doing!
