I did all the quests in Normal Veteran mode (excluding the last one from Barrowholm because there were hardly any Chthonians for that rep...) and finished the game AoM at lvl 72. If I didn't do any rifts or bounties, I'd probably finish the game at level 70, give or take, so I was basically riding on the high end of area level cap most of the time.

I've started playing on elite, and I'm getting close to middle of act 2, and so far I've only been in two/three locations where I wasn't severely overleveled - most of the time even bosses are ~5 levels below me.

Is it just me, or should all base game areas' max level caps be raised by about 10 levels to match the extra exp you get in AoM?

Is there any config option I can change to make the game a bit harder, or do I just have to wait until act 3, where I guess the game will catch up to my toon?
