Huge fps drops happening today without changing anything. Any ideas why?

I run a mid i5, GTX 970, and 8gb ram. I've been playing 120 hours with no issues. Until today. It started with my fps dropping to 15-30 in my elite SoT run, and now I can't even get the game to run above 30fps regardless of settings or location in-game. Town is just as bad. I haven't changed any settings or updated anything. After reading up, I switched thw game files to my SSD and disabled cloud saves, didn't help at all.

Update: Confirmed that it's something on my end. Rip me, taking this party over to the bros at r/buildapc.
