I'm still somewhat low level (10) but this is what I'm using so far and I like it a lot because I hardly have to attack. I start each battle casting ice shell followed by nature's embrace and then slow time. Regrowth and re-ice shell as needed. Enemies will poison themselves by attacking you or get poisoned by your attacks (and/or stunned) as well as take damage every round from your ice shell. You basically just have to out survive enemies by continuously healing and using items while weaving in attacks when you can.

Nightmare/larger dungeons/slower leveling

Monk

King Cobra

Leather armor, Long sword, Lucky dice

Meditation, Mobility, Venomous strike, Stunning blow

Ice shell, Regrowth, Slow time, Nature's embrace

I tried this with absorb pain but with your evasion chance being so high it was kind of a waste of a spell. I also did this with bookworm for the extra spell casts but it felt unnecessary as most fights would wrap up around the fourth round anyways.

I plan on taking the spells aspect of the beast, twisting vines, and reaper's scythe.

I also plan on taking the guild abilities metaphysics, outdoorsman, and innate resistance.

Anything else on top of these spells and abilities will just be extra help.
