This past Sunday 3/14/2021 my dad's neighbor passed from a heart attack. He was like a father to me growing up in my teenage years an beyond. My parents are divorce and in those years I had a rocky relationship with my actual dad and he would point things out of maybe why my dad was doing certain things. But alot of my time with him was spent in his garage. Learning about cars, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, boats anything with a motor. He gave me my first suit, after I became an adult I would stop by to talk. He's helped me in more ways I can ever think of. I live out of state now and unfortunately won't make it to the funeral as I dont have available days to use for my PTO and also not sure how much longer I'll have the job so don't want to risk loosing it sooner ( that's a whole other issue).
