Today(Saturday April 29th,2023) started like any other regular day, I had a shift of work ahead of me and it was fairly normal.
I finished my shift and got ready to go home, and my mom told me. I was gutted, sad and a bundle of memories started flooding back to me as a girl. My uncle always was intelligent and kind, as he always would give people the shirt off his back if he could.
I remember when I was young, he'd watch Nascar after they went to church and he'd always just sit in that chair and enjoy whichever race was being televised that day. He had a quiet demeanor, and I appreciated that about him. He was a Vietnam veteran, though he never discussed anything of that experience with me.. Please hug everyone you love and appreciate 💗
