I just wanted to go over rules for this sub and some basic concepts that come up often!

1) No discriminatory language 2) No hate speech 3) No harassment. If you feel like you are being harassed, message the mods 4) Be respectful of others 5) Doxxing of any kind will not be tolerated. 6) We are apart of the GRSM Community and the LGBTQIA Community. Gatekeeping is not acceptable. 7) Labeling other's sexuality is not a practice we will allow. Your sexuality is yours, not ours.

Many posts in this subreddit will be questions about their sexuality and if they fit in here. You can explain other labels, types of attraction, and anything else that you feel can help them. What isn't okay is picking their label and applying it to them. It's their label to take, not ours to give.

Key Vocab

Asexual - a person who doesn't experience sexual attraction to a varying degrees

Greysexuality - an umbrella term covering the space between regularly experiencing sexual attraction and not experiencing sexual attraction. Other specific conditions are housed underneath grey.

Allosexual - a person who regularly experiencing sexual attraction. May be referred to as Allo.

Sexual attitude - how you personally feel about having sex. Goes from positive to neutral to adverse. Everyone falls on this spectrum and can fluctuate on it as well.

Sexual Attraction - wanting to have sex attraction

Romantic attraction - wanting a romantic relationship

Platonic Attraction - wanting to be friends

Aesthetic attraction - enjoying the appearance of a person

Sensual attraction - wanting to touch someone

Aromantic - someone who does not experience romantic attraction

Demisexual - needing to have a deep connection with someone before experiencing sexual attraction

Cupiosexual - not experiencing sexual attraction but desiring a sexual relationship

Aceflux - someone who fluctuates on the Ace spectrum
