I'm a male, 27 years old 6'2, I started at 360LBS and prior to this water fast I got down to 327LBS I have been eating from coach Greg's Cook Book. I have type 2 diabetes, and there for it is more difficult for me to burn body fat only for weight loss. I have to ensure my blood sugar are stable. Calories in calories out works but what type of weight you are losing can largely be impacted by how much insulin is in your body. Back when I was 21 years old I did an 18 day water fast and at that time I was 325lbs I lost 60lbs total and gained 20lbs back (which was excpected) however it reset my taste buds in the sense of I had no cravings for sugar foods or junk food. I ate foods without seasoning or sauces, bland healthy foods and only water. My goal was to get down to 220lbs I was about 275 after gaining some weight back from my fast. I don't recommend doing this unless you have exhausted all other options and are under the medical guidance and care of a Medical Doctor. You should confirm with them that you are healthy to undergo prolonged fasting. I am aiming to take back my life again once this fast is over. I will eat at a slight calorie deficit, do cardio and lift stronger than last time. If anyone is interested in seeing progress photos let me know and I will take them.
