New to lifting, getting discouraged by how weak I am...
Post Body

Hi guys, Iโ€™m 28F, 5โ€™1โ€. Iโ€™m on a fitness journey to lose weight, get strong and build muscle. My weight loss has been going well. I was 155lbs on Aug 19th. Iโ€™m down to 142lbs. BUT Iโ€™m getting pretty discouraged by how weak I am. :( I can do about 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps with 10 pounds on the bench press (on a good day). Anything more than that feels impossible right now. My max for biceps curls with dumbbells is 15lbs. are there any other women out there who can speak to starting out this weak and getting stronger? Or can anyone help me get a sense of how long itโ€™ll take to get stronger?
