Hey so I have been getting quite a bit of discomfort when squatting recently that I didnāt run into a few years back. I think Iām leaning too far forward and also just struggling with a comfortable squatting movement. I have flat feet and some of the gym staff recommended plates or a wooden block under my heel to help the movement.
The thing is I donāt want to do anything that āhelpsā my lifts in an unnatural way. For example I wouldnāt want to use straps for deadlifts as Iād want to do it naturally until my grip caught up, so same here. If itās a muscle imbalance problem Iād rather just continue until itās fixed. If it wonāt affect that though Iām happy to do it. What are your thoughts?
