Doubled my bench in 9 months

Hey all, so Iā€™m a new lifter and I was just curious on how good my progress is.

I started training in September of last year after doing a drastic weight cut over last summer going from 230-170 with regrettably no resistance training cuz I lacked the knowledge I have now.

I started a PPL split and a bulk and made decent gains going from 50kg bench to a 100 kg or 225 lbs bench.

My only real source of info has been YouTube and tiktok so Iā€™m just curious on if Iā€™m making really good progress or just average progress cuz I see a bunch of talk about genetics playing a major role in your development
