First Quarter Â
1st & 10 – Jones 12 Yard Run (10:29)
The line creates a huge lane for Jones to run through. Look at that blocking! Look at that lane! Look at that shit. Fucking look at how big that shit is. It’s huge! Sorry. Â
1st & 10 – Jones 4 Yard Run (9:47)
On the very next play we have just a 4 yard run but a great example of the confusion that some of this motion can create.  Â
3rd & 8 – MVS 18 Yard Catch (8:26)
Speaking of confusion, this isn’t a run but this play makes me laugh. The DB ends up 10 yards away from MVS when he makes the catch. It was a rough day for the rookie. Â
Second Quarter Â
1st & 10 Adams 11 Yard Catch (13:42)
Again, this has nothing to do with the run but look at the little fake inside by Adams that creates about 4 yards of separation. Bonkers. Â
2nd & 2 Williams 11 Yard Run (5:31)
Lucas Patrick gets walked back a bit here but Williams with a great cutback and with enough strength that arm tackles aren’t bringing him down. Â
Third Quarter Â
1st & 10 Jones 75 Yard Run (15:00)
The line holds their blocks well and Jones showing some great vision and speed here. Everyone talked about Linsley’s great blocking but look at Jenkins with the double team and then the block on the LB that springs Jones free. Look at it again in slow-motion.
Did I have to let the slow-motion video play out all the way till he reaches the endzone? Probably not, but I just like seeing it. It’s like watching a beautiful gazelle get away from a pack of 11 starving lions. Â
1st & 10 Williams 18 Yard Run (12:28)
This is a brilliant run by Williams. He cuts outside then cuts back inside Patrick’s block breaking out into 10 yards of open space. I’ve always liked Williams for his attitude on the field and his willingness to block but his vision and shiftiness have really gone up another level. Â
1st & 10 Jones 11 Yard Run (7:33)
Just a simple toss to the outside but wanted to shout out Lizard Boi with a good block. Â
2nd & 4 Jones 9 Yard Run (4:02)
Watch 3 things here: the hesitation the presnap motion creates, the block by Patrick and the effort MVS gives on blocking a LB. Â
Fourth Quarter Â
1st & 10 Jones 14 Yard Run (8:05)
This is just great vision by Jones and great motherfucking blocking by Lindsey. Â
3rd & 4 Rodgers -6 Yard Catch (4:40)
As per usual, Rodgers receiver doesn’t do him any favors. Here, Rodgers throws a fucking dime, I mean he could have just as well walked up to him and handed it off, and what does the receiver do with it? Loses six yards and then gives up on the play. I know the front office didn’t draft a receiver because they believed in what we have but I just don’t know what they saw in this kid.Â
Random Thoughts:
I wonder if there's a longer walk than the walk back to the huddle after you've dropped a perfect pass.
Williams has really been impressing on limited snaps. Makes me happy, he's an wasy guy to cheer for.
This one's obvious but MVS is stupid fast.
I was very against not re-signing Bulaga. Only 2 weeks in but looks like I was wrong.Â
Lazard is like your favorite hoody. Not the flashiest thing you have to wear but it's always there when you need it and it makes you feel warm.Â
