Lately, I have noticed that many people are rooting for the Jets to lose. They believe that if the Jets do poorly, the Green Bay Packers will have a low first-round draft pick. They are also hating on me for hoping that Rodgers and the Jets do well. However, it doesn't make sense for the Jets to have Rodgers play 65% of the snaps if he performs poorly. They could rotate him with Zach Wilson and still secure a low first-round pick. With that pick, they could either draft a quarterback or select another player who could be a valuable weapon.
I'm not sure why some people believe that we will get a top-ten draft pick; it's more likely that we will receive a pick in the 20s. We should be content with that. The entire trade was based on the assumption that if Rodgers played well enough to lead the team to the playoffs, we would receive the first-round pick.
Many people underestimate the value of a mid-20s first-round pick. If Rodgers continues to perform well, we can still get a good player. We shouldn't pray for his downfall because if he does poorly, they just won't have him play 65% of the snaps. I'm not a Jets fan, but I hope that Aaron Rodgers performs well because his legacy is with the Packers. We should be happy with a first-round pick and stop hoping for Rodgers to fail.
Edit: I just want to say so of y’all are hating too much and not listening to want I’m saying. Like top with the negatively, this shit acting like it’s Twitter.
