For people wondering, it's traditional that Chthonic deities their meals and oils should be buried in the ground.
I've seen this question pop up from time to time.
Will Hades get mad at me? I really can't throw away food because of my living situation or other things that prevent you from offering how things traditionally should be for Chthonic deities.
Hades doesn't get mad that I ask him to share his offering meals with me; while it's personal UPG, he isn't mad. Due to me being on government funding and EBT to live off of, I just can't waste food. I basically use almost all of my EBT funds by the time the month ends. I only get one bill per month. I know in some countries you get two refills, but that's now how things work with where I live. I really can't just throw stuff away. I also don't drive because my anxiety is so bad that I can't drive. So, because of that, I would've to ask one of my estranged Evangelist Christian family to take me out to the woods, and how do you think that's going to go? Yeah, I can see that going really well, not. I also live in a complex, so I can't just be dumping food around in the ground because I don't have a backyard. Is Hades furious about me because of this? No, he understands, and he happily shares a meal with me.
