Itinerary

Planning on doing island hoping for almost three weeks in August. So far the plan is:

3 days Mykonos to party (whilst voiding getting scammed) 4 days in Syros to recover and look round the capital 8 days - Currently blank. 3 days - Santorni just because of the postcard sunset cliff view

The question is, where should we go for the 8 days to experice ACTUAL Greek island life away from the well known tourist traps that are currently in our itinerary?

Thinking Naxos/Paphos/Milos only because those are the more familiar names. Any suggestions? Thanks!
