FYI the United Kingdom of Great Britain has existed since 1707, with the act of union that uniting Scotland, England and Wales. The United Kingdom of great Britain and Ireland was in 1801. The current United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has existed since 1922.
IUCN protected area categories. To be a true national park they have to be a category 2 protected area but ours don't meet that standard and fall into category 5, which if I remember correctly are protected landscapes. It was news to me, and a bit of a shock, when I started working as a ranger at one of our national parks.
Think the UK parliament might be a bit if a better source than wiki personally. Either way in it's current state it's 1922.
"The Acts of Union, passed by the English and Scottish Parliaments in 1707, led to the creation of a united kingdom to be called “Great Britain” on 1 May of that year. The UK Parliament met for the first time in October 1707." Taken from the UK parliament website. So they seem to consider both the UK and Great Britain to be formed by the act of union. The United Kingdom has changed a few times since where Great Britain has remained as the original 3 countries.
Mentally? Or are you talking about traffic?
My experience of small remote UK village life is quite different. Glad it's working for you though
There's more than one type of traditional breakfast in Britain so you may have to narrow that down.
You said "our" breakfast is the best in the world. I'm pointing out that it's English not UK wide and also not as good as the others within the UK nevermind the world. You did also mention where it's served which I'm not disagreeing with.
Of the fried/full breakfasts in the UK, the full English is by far the worst in my opinion. Main redeeming feature that the others don't have is the hash browns.
Ireland is on par but seriously, Wales? Best thing to come out of Wales is the M4
By international standards we don't have any national parks
Which breakfast? There's multiple traditional breakfasts in the UK.
