I know nothing about programming, but I know all about how much youtube sucks, and i'd like to know if there is a way to alter youtube so that it only shows related videos in the sidebar. I see that below each video, there is (usually...) a button to show related videos, along with other genre options. I don't know why this isn't just the default or why it's not always an option, but I want to make it only show those videos, because it's a slight improvement over showing me the same ones it keeps trying to get me to watch. As I said, I have no idea how to do this, and I'll see if I can figure it out myself at some point, but I just want to know if this is possible.
While I am here-- do you think it's possible to alter youtube so it stops showing me the same recommended videos over and over? Maybe something can be written that blocks a video from appearing if it has been suggested to me before. I also wish I could get it to show me more obscure/low view videos, but that's probably not possible. Sorry for the painful noobness of this post by the way, lol.
