I’ll be getting my pixel 7 today I’ve watched a lot of videos over the last few months so feel like I’ll be able to install it ok

But want clarification on what the difference is between aurora store and Google play store as I know most of you will hate that I use social media but I enjoy it and have been trying to build a fan base for my art works too

I know aurora is a mirror of the play store but I’m kinda worried I’ll login to my Instagram for example and I’ll be locked out of my accounts. Is this a possibility or just a paranoid thought??

Obviously social media collects data but can I have my apps then block all the sensors etc to limit what they gather?

I do plan on experimenting with foss apps and alternatives don’t worry I’m not a complete lost cause just doing a bit at a time

Any cool well designed apps recommendations are appreciated
