I started last week and after opening up one side of the medicine cabinet, I could tell this wasn’t going to be a quick task. She has so many drawers and cupboards in her bathroom that are crammed full of meds, makeup and toiletries. I barely started when she came in fussing. It didn’t take long for me to figure out it would be best if this was something I did while she was out of the house for a while.
As you can see from a few things I pulled out. She doesn’t part with anything. She’s even using some of her Moms things from the 1920s. It was fun to see some of my Grandpas things, it’s been years since he passed away.
The funny thing is... The labels are all for different colognes. 😂 But you wouldn't know that smelling them.

My grandmother had an extensive collection of Avon bottles - mostly still filled.
Did people just buy certain Avon products for the bottle, and not the contents? I know as a kid a few of them got sniffed, and I swear they all smell the same 😂
