Oster is one of the few brands to still make a majority of its small appliances in the US or Canada, and most of their blenders still have an all-steel drive (if not all).
I'm sure some of their lower-priced wares are made elsewhere, and some blenders are made in Mexico - but none in China - so far.
Most people don't know, but Oster began its life as a manufacturer of hair clippers - something they continue to make in the US.
