SO i purchased a physical copy of this game when it came out. Today i went to reinstall the game but rockstar social club asked for a activation code. I entered the code and got the response

Rockstar Activation Code already in use

What do i do now? Would installing the game with the CDs work?

****Edit. So I contacted rockstar support his is what happened.

"thank you for contacting Rockstar Support.

We are sorry to hear about your issue with your account.

Having read your message we have checked our systems and we have found your original account (where you activated the game) however we noticed that a new account has been created using the same email address as you used on your original account.

As no two account can share an email address, we need to delete the new account (with no games) so as to "free" the email address."

So they stated they will delete the account with no games. But I just checked my account and I have red dead redemption and gta 4 missing and the cd keys don't work.

So rockstar literally deleted my account with active games after specifically stating there are no games active.

No idea if I can get those games back. Still talking with tier 3 rockstar support witch has been a nightmare so far.
