Mission Spawning Online

Is it just me or is the spawning for missions online fucking atrocious? Sometimes you spawn over 5 miles away and spend so much time just getting to the objective. My last mission spawned me on a hill, with my personal vehicle on the other side of a tall barbed wire fence, 5 miles from my objective. I didn't queue up to spend the entire time driving across the map, I just want some quick points.
