Question about the last heist(SPOILERS!!!!!)

On the UD heist, you need to find the 3 gauntlets. So, I have a couple questions.

First, should I upgrade everything I can on the cars? Is there bulletproof tires and body armor for it?

Second, is there a specific order of who uses the gauntlets? I know F uses the last one you boost, but I want to get the order correct so they are customized to match M and T.

Also, any other tips for surviving the Merrywether Assault would be great. I usually die when the assault happens. Does buying body armor for the characters before starting the mission help any?
