(Im on ps5)

I bought the game and downloaded it like normal. It said 11 or so gigs and it took about 20 minutes to download. I go in, set up everything and it said downloading in the corner. I think, “eh that’s kinda normal, I’ll play the music rally while I wait.”

I play music rally, getting gold on every single track (not first try, after many tries). It’s about halfway done. I think “huh, weird” so I go down, have lunch, do some yard work, come in, watch 3 episodes of house md, and then come back up to see its progress. It has not moved.

I delete the game and redownload it. Like before it only takes 20 or so minutes to download and I get the same screen with downloading in the corner and the music rally screen.

I watch some YouTube, cook dinner, checkup on social media and such, play some track mania, check on it AGAIN and it’s not even halfway done

In total I have waited TEN HOURS and it has not downloaded. I have starlink (my city doesn’t want to provide us with fiberoptic cables) so my internet is pretty good. Any reason why it’s not downloading and how do I fix it?

Edit: tl;dr: i bought gran turismo around noon (about 11 or so) and let it download throughout the day. I played it a bit, got gold on all the music rally levels and it still wasn’t done. Checked up on it at about 4, was half way done. Deleted it and redownloaded it at 9 it is not even a quarter done. I have starlink, not fiber optic.
