Hi all,
I'm applying to a master's program in psychological sciences (research-based program) that has rolling admissions for the Fall of 2019.
I'm looking to submit everything officially by early-mid March.
I'm including my CV in my application.
My question is: can I include items that I'm definitely going to be involved with, but have not currently "officially started"? I may "officially start" the activities before I submit the full application.
For example, I'm in the on-boarding process (e.g., fingerprinting, other paperwork) for a volunteer research assistant position at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, which I'll be involved with going forward. I interviewed with the psychiatric hospital a while back, and am set to start the volunteer work after on-boarding.
I'm also soon to start the training process of a part-time job working a call-line that provides behavioral health information, referral services, and supportive counseling, psycho-education, advocacy, and telephone case management that is relevant to the psychology program I'm applying to. My first day of training was scheduled on 2/20, but canceled due to snow. I'm in the process of rescheduling my first day of training with my two supervisors.
I interviewed and signed official paperwork for the training phase, which varies in length per individual depending on a variety of factors (e.g., at what pace I learn/perform and how well I learn/perform, fit, supervisors' impressions/feedback of my progress, my impression of the work), and then employment is typically seamless if I'm a good fit.
I believe the aforementioned will strengthen my application, so I want to include them on my CV when I officially submit.
Anything to keep in mind regarding listing them on my CV?
Thanks so much.
With sincerity in mind,
Ritty
