Asked to be a reviewer
Post Body
I am a second-year graduate student. Yesterday, one of the prominent journals in my field sent me an email asking me to be a reviewer for a paper. The subject matter of the paper in question is something that I have worked on and published a paper on in the past; so I assume that I was contacted because of that.
I would like to know how common it is for graduate students to be reviewers and what tips/suggestions do you have a for a first-time reviewer?
