Hi guys,
I work at a start up as a manufacturing engineering for 1.5 years. Also worked at the same place as a technician for 1.5 years. This company has a lot of growth potentential.
My work authorization was expiring so my boss helped me to get into a masters at Boston University. For mechanical Engineering. My boss did the same masters that is why he recommended me to go there.
Now my H1b got picked and I dont need to go do the masters anymore and I can stay working come november. However, my boss said that if I decided to go do the masters he will give me a raise once I Graduate and he will let me do the masters while I work full time. He will basicaly pay me full time and I just show up to work when I can. In one year I will finish the masters.
I do gota pay it out of pocket. I got 20k of scholarship, my parents will help me with the money and are encoraging me to do it.
What do you guys think? A master in mechanical Engineering is worth to help carrer growth?
Thanks for all the advice.
